It’s almost that time of the year again...
The 2019 Erin Condren Life Planners Will Be Launched.
The time of the year that we start using our brand spanking new 2019 Erin Condren Life Planners. That’s if your Life Planner starts in January of 2019 such as mine. Every single year I would get impatient during launch and would just add the remainder of the year, along with the full following year. Over the years Ive found that, after trying the 12 month compared to the 18 month, the size of the 12 month Erin Condren Life Planner is perfect, most importantly if you plan with planner stickers,

I know it’s hard to not jump for the remainder of the year, trust me I’ve been there for 3 years. I promise you that if you like to plan with stickers then you will absolutely be thankful you waited.
In this post I will be sharing some tips on how I use my Erin Condren Life Planner. Not just the weekly but the monthly pages, the page before the month starts, the Goal Pages and the back note pages. I will be breaking it all down with pictures of the new set up.

In the beginning of 2018 I made a commitment to myself to stick with one planner consistently, no matter how many planners I was using at that time. The planner I picked was my 2018 Vertical Neutral Erin Condren Life Planner. However, it doesn’t matter how many times I switch my planners up, I always go back to my Vertical Neutral Erin Condren. Once I discovered the neutral version of the vertical Life Planner is when I sort of found Planner Peace😳
I have been using a Erin Condren Life Planner (along with many other planners) since 2014. Seeing how much my planning styles have evolved over the years has been crazy.
Anyone remember that point in time everyone was trying to hack their Erin Condren into a A5 Kikki K or Arc rings? I have soooo many washied , punched loose pages lying around from 2014-2015
When I first started my planning journey in early 2014 I was using printable planner stickers from multiple Etsy shops along with a binder and printable inserts that I purchased off Etsy.
It wasn’t long until I found all the Erin Condren Facebook Groups and decided to purchase my first Erin Condren Life Planner. I started ordering from every and any Etsy shop I could moving on to printed stickers. That is until I found Krissyanne Designs back in 2015.
I still use stickers from a couple other shops such as Birds Fly Studio, Wild Summer Designs and The Coffee Monsterz CO. Mostly ~ I am and will always be a #kaddict. That stands for KAD Addict(KAD is short for Krissyanne Designs). You will spend a fortune after discovering the beautiful world of planner stickers and planner groups and trying to find your planner grove when it comes to how you decorate and what kind of stickers you prefer (that though is for another post). Once you find your style you will be much more content, unfortunately that could take many years. Like it did in my case.
I know that I’m sort of contradicting myself after vowing to sick with my Erin Condren 2018 but the new one is well... just new😀 And every year there is a slight change that makes her planners even better.
Let’s Get started shall we.
How to properly set up your new Erin Condren Life Planner start to finish for ultimate productivity :
1- The Removable Pouch (This Comes with a adhesive 6 inch Erin Condren Coil Clip that makes it easy to move around in your Life Planner).
I love the way this Pouch is now removable being the coil clip enclosed. A couple years ago this was coiled in and not removable, unless you uncoiled it I like to put stickers I’m using for the week I’m planning in it.
2- The Yearly Calendar On 2 Pages.
The yearly planner is a good option to use with the translucent circles from Erin Condren. You can mark off birthdays or important days. More so you could even color code the circles for example red for birthdays, blue for anniversaries, pink for holidays and whatever else you would like to remember for the year ahead.
3- The 2 Page Boxes After The Yearly Calendar & Before The First Monthly Calendar Starts.
I love writing out goals and ideas in this area. Also I will write Blog Ideas, YouTube Video Ideas or even daily, monthly and yearly house cleaning.
4- The Lined Page Before Your Monthly Spread.
I am in love with this new feature all though I also loved the old layout with the circles and columns it was harder to use if I didn’t but a monthly sticker kit however. I like the blank slate to put anything I want to accomplish during that coming month. I even use it for ideas for posts and videos.
5- The 2 Page Monthly Calendar.
This is something I always struggled with. I struggle as it is keeping up weekly let alone monthly but would love to use this are as a content / social media calendar. I also thought about in the past using it as a cleaning calendar.
6- The 2 Page Weekly Calendar. This Layout Below Is The Colorful Hourly Layout.
I absoultly adore the Vertical Neutral I am currently using but decided while in Austin TX attending Go Wild 2018 to switch to the neutral horizontal layout ( which has changed a bit) until I realized I purchased this planner to start in January 2019. I ended up purchasing the colorful hourly along with the colorful vertical. I may use one for content and the other as my regular planner. The Vertical and Hourly start last week of June into the beginning of July. That is however if you want your EC to start in January 2019.
7- The Notepages After The Year End ( Lined, Dot Grid & Coloring Pages).
I love using the note pages for lists and such. You can really use them for anything your heart desires. Favorite TV shows your watching, Meal Ideas, Food Tracker, Cleaning routines, Blog/YouTube stats and title ideas. The possibilities are endless.
8- The Contact Pages That Follow The Notepages (yep this is a new feature).
I absolutely love this feature and believe it was in the Life Planners many years ago. I think I will be using these two pages as a favorite shop / coupon code list. Another idea would be a penpal tracker or simply for contacts.
9- The 2020 Perpetual Calendar.
To Be Completely honest I don’t plan this far though if you have a school calendar you could put important dates in there.
10- The Stickers At The End... And They’ve Changed !
I never really used the stickers in the back that much being in the past they were just printed flags and a lot didn’t relate to my life in general. These stickers I will be using often and love the mix of cute icons , full boxes and headers. They seem more geared towards almost anyone.
11- Double Sided Super Sturdy Folder In The New Woven Wonder Pattern.
This is super sturdy smooth card stock and will hold up to wear and tear
12- Removable Personalized Covers. These Snap In And Out With Ease Along With Having Lined Dashboard Areas On The Backside To Use With A Wet Erase Marker.
I mention wet erase because it will not smear or come off on to your beautiful vellum unlike dry erase. Erin Condren has super pretty wet erase marker colors or the expo wet erase markers can be purchased at staples. Erin Condren also sells special wipes for wiping the wet erase maker off the board. You can jot down things you need to buy or reminders.
13- A Beautiful Rose Gold Perpetual Calendar That Can Fit Right inside The Back Pocket Folder.
You can plan your year when it comes to birthdays and anniversaries or even school events in this beautiful little book then reference this when the time comes to transfer to your planner. This book is thin and light weigh also fits perfectly inside the folder.
