By now, anyone who has read any of my previous blog posts knows that I am a diehard Erin Condren Life Planner addict. My Erin Condren Life Planner is the reason behind me having a routine in place daily. More so, I also love to incorporate sticker kits into my weekly planner spreads.

If you never tried decorating your planner, I highly suggest you give it a try. Not only is it a great way to increase your creativity but also helpful with easing anxiety and stress.

Even though the Erin Condren Weekly Life Planner has plenty of room for everything and anything in your day to day, also I love using a daily planner to write down daily tasks, lists and to-do’s. This is where The Simplified Planner comes in to play.

One of the main reasons why I love The Simplified Planner is the simplicity. It is the perfect daily planner for anyone who loves making lists because the day pages are super functional.

Here are some of the reasons why I love Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner.

  • The Sticker Sheet In The Front Of Your Emily Ley Simplified Planner

These stickers are super cute and the colors are beautiful. Being a daily planner doesn’t need much decoration, these stickers make the perfect addition.

  • Tips For Living A Simplified Life

In the beginning of The Simplified Planner, Emily Ley gives you a couple pages of what the pineapple means, a little bit about herself, the process of simplifying and how to use the planner.

  • Simplified Prep-Work Pages

  • Looking Back

Looking Back is a page where you write down everything that had worked in the past along with things that haven’t worked. This is another page in the front of your planner to reference back to.

  • Looking Ahead

Looking Ahead is a page where you can map out your goals based on your Looking Back page. Looking Forward pages coincide with each other so you see what worked in the past and what didn’t work. So you can write down your goals and dreams for the future.

  • My Weekly Routine

My Weekly Routine is designed for writing down how you want your week to look like. For example, cleaning routines or daily routines. You can then look back on it to reference.

  • My Daily Routine

My Daily Routine, also part of the prep work pages is designed for writing down how you want your day to look. It’s a page you can reference back to throughout the year.

  • Yearly Bucket List.

Your Yearly Bucket List is a page that is part of the front prep work pages. It is designed for writing down things you want to accomplish in that year and going back and checking them off.

  • 2019 Yearly Calendar On One Page, 2019 Holidays On One Page.

Myself personally, I don’t use the yearly calendar. Though I do see a large amount of people color coding with transparent sticker dots on their yearlies.

  • Month On Two Page.

I’m not a huge monthly calendar user, all though I have been starting to use the monthly pages for when I publish a blog post, upload a YouTube video, social media and important dates.

  • Your Day On One Page.

This daily layout is by far my favorite layout out of all the daily planners I’ve tried over the past 5 years.

Quick Tip 1: If you don’t use time blocking, add washi tape down the side to cover the hours and even add a appropriate header if need be.

Below Is A Comparison Chart From Emily Ley Comparing The Different Versions That The Simplified Planner Come In.

These are the reasons I need to use a Daily Planner such as The Simplified Planner along with my Erin Condren.

I feel as if I achieve my goals and tasks more often when I make a list, whether it’s in a daily planner or just a plain notebook. Afterwards, I transfer my tasks into my Erin Condren Life Planner.

Quick Tip 2: Use Mildliners (highlighters) if you are not a big planner sticker decorator. Mildliners are a great choice to mix up colors even if you are using a planner sticker kit. I love using these highlighters to cross off my completed tasks.

Another super important feature is Emily Ley’s paper is similar to Erin Condren’s paper, not as thin as your Erin Condren paper, but great paper quality.

And right now, Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner is on sale. Most are already sold out, but there are still a limited amount of cover styles available in the daily and weekly editions.

Don’t Forget To Pin This To Pinterest For Future Reference.
