The 5 second rule by Mel Robbin’s has been around for a few years now. The book is great but I do better with audiobooks, I also had an audible account at that time. I found it more convenient listening to a book then reading a book.I would listen to it folding laundry or doing dishes. At this time my house was in chaos but something in the book helped me. But regardless how you take the information in, this book is a magic trick into beating procrastination. Counting down 5,4,3,2,1. It sounds silly, but it really does.

Creating cleaning schedules and routines within your home takes time and dedication. The key piece of advice is to keep drilling in your head is in order for this to become a habit you have to be consistent every single day whether you want to or not. And by being consistent, in return this will end up becoming clockwork without even thinking. Once you have these habits down your house will feel much more calmer.
