It takes time and work to get a home out of chaos. I know because I lived in chaos for years until I realized that I had to change or I’d be miserable. Not only does a chaotic, messy home worsen mental illness it also puts tremendous stress on you and your family. Once I started sticking with a cleaning schedule, and trust me it was not easy at all, but I finally did it. The more you do certain tasks everyday the more it becomes a habit. No one likes doing the dishes. That’s the worse chore out there, at least in my opinion. I’ve learned over the years however that if I let the dishes pile up my house would be in shambles.
